Should I Manage My Blog Myself Or Use a Service? - Outsource This Part to Get Best Results

Many people who are just starting to optimize their website read about how a blog can increase their search value and reputation as a trustworthy website. If you have been thinking about starting a blog or currently manage your own blog you may wonder why people would pay for blog services when content can be easily done on your own.

Well, if you have been asking yourself "Should I manage my blog or use a service," here are three considerations you may want to take into account. They may just convince you that blog management services may be a worthy investment for your company.

Blogs require constant updating

Running your blog is a large time investment because blogs need to be updated every day or at least every other day if you want them to be truly effective. While at first writing a blog each day may not seem too time consuming, over a large period of time it will be quite time consuming and it can get tedious to try and keep up with your blog.

Content needs to be keyword directed

Content does not only have to be fresh, but it also has to be keyword rich if you want your blog to reach its full potential towards increasing your S E O value and traffic. There is a delicate balance between using a keyword too little and using a keyword phrase too much. One tip is to see how often the top three results on Google show up in their content and try to copy that amount, but it can get confusing and make copy writing on your own more difficult if you manage your blog.

Blog design is just as important as the content

Finally, the last component you need to consider when you decide who should manage my blog is the fact that the overall design of your blog is also an effective S E O tool. Your design needs to be properly designed to be attractive as well as utilize any title, headings, and subheadings. It also will need to be tagged for every entry. So you need to consider if you have the design skills and the time to manage all aspects of your blog before taking on the task on your own.

Three Reasons Why Seniors Should Have Blogs

As part of the baby boomer generation, retirement days may be quite boring for you. Considering the fact that you were once used to doing something or having a job, retirement days would come as a shock for you. That is why sometimes, you engage yourself to fishing and golfing so that you can pull yourself out from the boring corner of your house. However, if you are the type who still wants to have income despite the fact that you are already retired from the office, I suggest that you engage and introduce yourself to blogging.

Blogging is the new hype nowadays that enables different kinds of people coming from different parts of the world to share something about what they know. It has also become a portal for making extra money from the daily income you receive from work or from the pension you usually receive when you're retired already. It is a good way for you to express your thoughts or feelings and at the same time earn a living from it.

Actually, blogging has a lot of benefits that will, for sure, lure you into making a blog for yourself too. Listed below are just some of the many reasons why you should have your own blog.

1. Blogging can be a means of expressing yourself in the online world. You can write about your emotions, your comments, your ideas about a certain topic or aspect that you wish to talk about. You can make your blog your little place to express anything you want to let out and shout to the world.

2. If you have your own business or would want to start a new business venture, you can always create your own blog and share to the world what you possess. You can market your product here or talk about a certain expertise that you have over a certain topic. A blog can be your place to promote your product as well as your business and let the people know that you exist and you sell that kind of product. In this way, you can always heighten up a notch in doing business with others as well as increase your number of potential customers.

3. As I have said earlier, you can always make money with your blog. Once you have your own blog but do not have any business, making money is still not a question. You can always make money with your blog through advertising, link buying or affiliate marketing. Through this means and with proper guidance, you can always gain profit and have extra income for you to enjoy.

How to Earn 30 Dollars (Or More) From Your Blog Everyday With Free Traffic Only (I Love This)

Who else wants to make some easy money from their blog? If you are anything like most people reading this right now, the chances are that you aren't making ANYTHING at all with your blog or website, right? It's true....the studies show that over 90% of online marketers will never make $100 online, and less than 1% will ever make nearly enough to support themselves either.

So would an easy $1000 per month....or more, be a big step up on the self improvement scale for you? If so....I'm going to give you the absolute easiest way to do it, do it easily as well...and make it happen in a hurry!

Filed Under: The Article Marketing Driven Review Blog

Here is the entire strategy in a paragraph. Your job is to write and submit articles around very specific products. Not generic topics, or HUGE keyword counts. Rather, you want to target hyper specific, "buy" related keywords that speak specifically to one particular product. Drive the traffic from the directories, to a blog set up to do NOTHING else other than promote that one particular product. Take the very same articles that you submitted to the directories, and loosely re-write them about 30% or so, and place them on your blog in an "articles" category as well for more on site content. (this isn't even necessary to be honest....although I do it)

The Net Result?

You are going to have good incoming links for product specific reviews. You are going to have highly ranked articles for product specific reviews pointing back to your site. You are also going to have have optimized ON site content around those very same terms. If you picked your product properly, you should be making an easy sale per day, per blog you set up like so....and this is also super easy to SCALE up and out to boot for big, bodacious bucks that could change your life, and fast!

How to Blog - 7 Blog Backlink Strategies

Back links to your blog serve two strategies. First, a back link from a "do follow" site will pass on the page rank. You will in effect borrow page rank from their site and add it to your page rank. Second people who are visiting the other site will see the link to your website. A certain percentage will click on the link, and visit to learn more about you.

So, back links are responsible for two types of traffic. Search engine traffic from the increased search engine optimization provided by each back link. And direct traffic from the people that click on the link from the other site to your website.

Below are 7 ways to gain back links and benefit from these powerful traffic generation methods:

1. Articles On Article Directories - Writing an article and including a link to your blog in the resource box is a great way to build back links. Not sure what to write about? Take one of your best posts and repurpose to the article directory.

2. Blog Carnivals - Find a Carnival matching the topic of your niche. Take your best post from the past week and submit it to the carnival. Make sure you what you are submitting is relevant to the niche, and can help readers.

3. Guest Posts - Writing a guest post for another blogger is a great way to gain back links. You get to include links back to you in the resource part of the post. Finding guest posting opportunities is easier than you think. The key is to look for bloggers who are at the same level as you or a little bit higher. "A" listers are bombarded with requests making it harder to get noticed.

4. Trackbacks - Write about post on another blog, and add a trackback. The other blogger will get a notification about your post. When it gets approved you will get a link back to your website. This one will help with SERPs, and direct traffic.

5. Squidoo pages - Take one of your posts, and create a Squidoo lens. Make sure to rewrite the post to avoid duplicate content. In the lens add a link to your website.

6. Interviews - Interview another blogger, or get interviewed on another website. A link to your site should be included on the other website. Whether you are interviewing or being interview.

7. Ask - This is overlooked and one of the simplest ways to get back links. Search out blogs in the same niche and make contact with the owner. Not everyone will want to give you a back link, but some will.

Blogging For Business - How to Keep Your Blogs Updated With Fresh New Content on a Regular Basis

When I first discovered blogs back in 2005, I was overjoyed at the thought of being able to publish my ideas on the internet so easily. That joy soon turned to frustration when I discovered that committing to blogging meant a commitment to writing on a daily basis.

I had always wanted to be a writer, but had not been writing for about twenty years. I also set up about ten blogs that year, leaving me with writer's block and feeling dread every time I turned on the computer. I knew there had to be a better way.

Soon I realized that I could write short posts on the two blogs I was most interested in maintaining. The other blogs could all be updated and maintained by using other people's writing. This is a completely legitimate way to blog.

The first place I visited was the largest article directory in the world, EzineArticles. This site allows you to use articles written by others, as long as you give the author full credit, do not change any part of the article, and leave the author bio, also known as the resource box, completely intact. This meant that I could find articles that fit my blog's niche and use other people's articles to keep the content updated. It was also great for those authors, because their writing would be promoted and bring them more visitors to their site, as well as more sales. It was a win-win situation.

Another method I employed was to find people who wanted to write guest posts on my various blogs, just to get the exposure. My recommendation is to only start one or two blogs when you are just starting out, and then to look for ways to have others help you to keep them updated with fresh, new content.

Blogging - How to Write Blog Post Titles That Get Attention

The title of your blog post needs to catch attention. If it fails to catch attention, then people won't read the post. And the time spent writing the post will be wasted. The title is also used in the search engines. So the title needs to catch the attention of search engine users too.

What are some techniques you can apply so your title gets attention?

First, you can include a benefit in your title. People want to know what's in it for them or what advantages they can gain. By including a benefit, you'll get their attention and make them want to read your post.

Another technique is to add urgency to your title. Urgency makes them want to read your post now rather than later. For instance, the title "Triple Your Productivity" is good because it has a benefit.

But adding urgency will make it even better. For example, you could say, "6 Shocking Secrets Recently Discovered That Will Triple Your Productivity." Or, "A Rare Scientific Breakthrough Proven to Triple Your Productivity." The reader wants to learn those secrets or the breakthrough by reading the post now rather than later.

You can also make your title specific to get attention. For instance, instead of "Boost Your Productivity," you can make it more specific by saying, "8 Tips to Boost Your Productivity."

Another tip is to make your title unique. If your title is similar to other titles that exist, or if you use cliches, then it'll be hard for your title to catch attention. Your title needs to stand out by being unique. So instead of "Boost Your Productivity," you could say "Rapidly Increase Your Productivity By Applying These Secrets That Few People Know."

Ideally, you'll want to include more than one of these 4 elements in your title. If you combine them, it'll add more power to your title and really get attention.

WordPress Blogging Strategy - 7 Tips For Building Your Tribe With WordPress

1. Commenting Strategy
Your commenting strategy is more than waiting for people to make comments on your blog. It is an active process you undertake to get yourself known by commenting on other blogs, writing posts about other blogs' posts, as well as encouraging comments on your own blog.

2. Encourage Community Participation
Encouraging community participation encompasses the many activities of commenting, leveraging the power of social networking, social bookmarking, and e-mails done with care.

3. Provide Excellent Content
If you don't provide GREAT and USEFUL content, your tribe won't even begin to form. You must educate as well as entertain your readers to get them to come back and join your tribe. Then you must continue to provide excellent content to keep them coming back.

4. Social Networking Sites
Social Networking Sites are great for tribe building. Answering questions on twitter, inviting your followers to visit your site and/or attend your free teleseminar, and letting people know who you are will take you far in upping your 'know, like, and trust' factor.

5. Social Bookmarking Sites
The most important thing to do regarding Social Bookmarking Sites is to complete your profile. Put your picture up there, answer all the questions, and don't forget the url of your WordPress blog! When people 'bookmark' your blog post on one of the Social Bookmarking Sites, you want people to be able to discover exactly who you are.

6. Blog About Your Stuff
When you have 'stuff' to see, blog about it. Don't do a hard sell on your blog. Tell people about your product and what it will do for them. Your call to action can be to send them to your sales page, but don't sell it on your blog. Explain it!

7. E-Mail Your Tribe for Participation
Use e-mail with care. You can send as many 140 character tweets as you want but people will unsubscribe in a heartbeat if you hit them over the head with too many 'salesy' e-mails. It's much better to e-mail to your tribe about your blog post. Invite them to read and comment on it. A much softer sell approach than the e-mails that say buy this or you won't be able to afford food!

Three Ways to Earn Money From Blogging

You may have wondered why some people are into blogging and how they have managed to make money out of it. Well, to tell you the truth, it is not just about posting contents. A lot of times, before making serious money out of blogging, you must at first, have your audience or readers and then your blog must be indexed on the top search engines. If all has been satisfied already, you have your readers and your blog has been indexed; yet, money is still not knocking on your door, perhaps you still do not know the techniques as to how you should invite money to your blog.

If you want additional money and you are blogging, monetizing your blog is not really that difficult. You can always make money with your blog by doing one of the following:

1. If you have the talent or the expertise in writing, try to sell your talent by making your own e-book. Try to write good contents to your book and publish it online. If you have published it already, promote it to your site and sell it. Though this may require extensive research, but the income you generate from this is really impressive.

2. You can also join those programs wherein you are being paid when you post something about a certain product or thing. You can be paid through making reviews about a product, a movie, a literary piece, etc and post it on your site. This will not only let you earn money but this can also help build traffic to your blog too!

3. Yet, if you want to be subtle about making money, you can join the affiliate marketing programs. With affiliate marketing, you can always deal with companies or other businessmen who wants their products to be advertised on your blog and by placing their company or business links to your site. Earning through affiliate marketing is done through commission basis or per sale basis.

5 Reasons WordPress Blogs Make Great Business Sites

Think very carefully before you ignore the benefits of a blog-based site. Without question, you can use WordPress to create a site that simply does not look or act like a blog. But blogging gives your site business and search engine advantages that no other format offers.

1. Because blogs are updated frequently, search engines love them.

Fresh, original content that's organized clearly for human consumption is irresistible to search engines. There's nothing a search engine likes more.

2. Keyword searches happen more naturally

That means people are more likely to find your site when searching by keyword. If your competitors aren't doing this and you are, you'll pull quickly ahead of them. And if they've beaten you to the punch, you'll have no choice but to meet or exceed their efforts. The search engine juice is too important these days. Even if you think you're not a news-based site, you're probably wrong.

3. Event announcements get spidered faster

If you schedule events for the public, if you want people to learn about new features, if you want the community as a whole to know what you're doing, or if you want to attract new customers, short news items make it easy for people to keep up.

4. People can subscribe to your site

Using RSS feeds people can subscribe to your blog and get notified automatically when new content is added. If your site is for a restaurant or store, this is a fantastic way to advertise specials and keep people coming back to your site. If your site is for a church or service organization, there's no easier way to keep people informed of important goings-on. Try asking your webmaster to add a feature like that to a site built from HTML instead of WordPress.

5. Comments mean community

Blogs allow comments to be posted on them (although you can disable this feature, or control what comments get posted). Why is this important? First, it increases interest in your site and gets people to come more often. Second, it increases search engine results because those comments add original content to your site, with little to no effort on your part! How bad can it be to get free help developing your web presence? And finally, it is a brilliant way to network and to learn about new developments in your field that you may never have known otherwise.

One of the first widely recognized early bloggers was a college student from Swathmore named Justin Hall. 'Blogs' or 'blogging' really started to take off in early 2000. But it wasn't until a few years ago that blogs really started grabbing headlines. That will happen when blogs sell for MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, like the $25million Jason Calacanis got for Weblogs, Inc.

Now back to my favorite blogs and why I follow them. It's pretty simple:

1) They're 'smart' bloggers. (They've discovered the secret to getting paid to blog.)

Is There Anyone Left That Doesn't Have a Blog?

Everyone and their little sister seems to have a blog these days. People who have businesses - everything from corporate to freelance - know that you don't give out your MySpace page and expect to be taken seriously. So they set up websites and blogs.

Many people start out with a free hosted Blogspot service, just to dabble in blogging and see if it's for them. There's no harm in that. But if you're starting a blog for business/portfolio purposes, skip that step altogether.

Create a blog plan.

* What do you hope to achieve with your blog?
* Who is your target audience?
* How often can/will you post to it?
* How much can/will you invest in getting it started?

Generally instead of going the Blogspot "free" route, you should invest in buying a domain for yourself. Maybe it will be your name or the name of your business. Maybe it will hint at the products or information you have available. Sites like "Right Wing News" are pretty up front about what they have on offer, and you should be too. Once you have the domain, you need a blogging platform. Wordpress is the most popular because it's free (for the software) and somewhat easy to set up.

By "somewhat", I mean that it can be done in very short order, but that you need to know how to read between the lines of their somewhat vague instructions for choosing and installing a template.

So where does that leave you?

Johnny B. Truant is a self-starter and entrepreneur that is now offering his lessons to the general public in e-book form. The title leaves a lot to be desired (How to Launch a Blog in Under an Hour for Super Cheap) but the content is solid:

You can have your own blog on your own domain. You can have it fast. You can have it cheap. How cheap? You can do it for $20 if you want to, but the best option is still under $75 for one entire year of blog amazingness. And you don't have to be a tech wiz to do it. This report will tell you exactly how to do it. Step by step. With screen shots and everything.

This is a great opportunity if you want to get started right away and don't have the first clue how. Wordpress is extremely user-friendly once it's installed. It has a WISYWIG (What You See Is What You Get) Word-like editor that you can use for uploading pictures and videos, making bullet-point lists, and formatting text the same way you would in Word.

In addition, there are advanced features like being able to change the time the article is posted. If you do all your articles on a Sunday afternoon, you can set them to publish one at a time, one each day, at a time of your choosing. All In One SEO Product is a Wordpress plugin that can help you attract relevant traffic to your blog. Wordpress offers dozens of free, customizable templates to help you set the tone of your site.

Whether you want your site to be about business, politics, photography or your pets is up to you. The most important thing is to make that decision in advance, scratch out a few basic posts to help you get a feel for what you want to do, and then take the plunge.

Good luck, and happy blogging.

Top 7 Main Benefits of Hosting Your Blog on Your Own Domain

You have decided to start blogging and the first thing that you will need to do is to get a blog set up. You can either use a free hosted site or your own domain with hosting. We will go over both, but most serious internet business people know that there are more benefits of hosting your blog on your own domain.

Use a free hosted service.

Two good examples of free hosted sites are Wordpress and Blogger. They have a lot to offer for the beginner. First they give you free subdomain access to host your blog. They also will have many tools and templates as well as ease of installation so it will help if you don't know a lot about putting up a website. Some have great tutorials and it will usually only take ten minutes to start up before you are actually putting your thoughts on screen.

Again a free hosted blog is a great beginning for new bloggers. It allows you to get something up quickly so you can start journaling your thoughts or selling your products. This way you can begin to make money right away if that is your main objective. It also gives you time to familiarize yourself with the blogging platform without having to deal with Cpanel or other paid hosting.

For other people that may have been around longer or if you are familiar with webhosting and domains then there are many great benefits of hosting your blog on your own domain.

Ten main benefits of hosting your blog on your domain are as follows:

Credibility

In order to make a good living online you must have something called credibility. It is defined as the quality of being believable or trustworthy. If you have your own domain it lends credibility to your site. It shows that you are going to be around for awhile. First impressions are important, online too, and people will judge what you are selling by how your website looks. I sometimes wish it wasn't so!

Control

Ah, the big issue of control. If you have your own site hosted on your own domain then you have control over every aspect of that site. You can put on it anything you want and design the layout adding features that you want. This means you can have a blog that is unique and that matches your own logo. You will not be a sub anything.

Security

There are two ways to look at the security of owning your own blog on your own domain, the first is that the people who will deal with you feel more secure, and it seems to be that owned domains with shorter names are more trusted than those that are sub domains. The other issue is that by hosting your blog on your own domain you have added personal security for yourself. You will never get locked out of your account or lose your information unless you lose it from your own webhost.

Easier for people to remember

There are many benefits to hosting your own blog on your domain, but this one is important. You can choose a name as your domain that will make you blog easier to find and easier to remember and come back to.

We have all seen those long names before and you know which one would be easier to recall, of course the shorter one. So the easier it is to be remembered then the easier it will be to be found and this alone will be one of the greatest benefits of hosting your blog on your own domain.

Content Control

You can put up pretty much anything you want on your own domain name. You do not have to keep within a theme or be restricted in anyway. Of course most of the large free blog sites don't really restrict much, unless it is for porn or national security but why take the chance when you don't have to. It is very simple here. Hosting your own blog on your own domain is the best answer.

While there are not normally really strict guidelines regarding content, when you have your blog hosted by a blogging network, your choices in content can be restricted. By hosting your own blog, you can have much larger control over your content.

Promote your own brand

Hosting your blog on your own domain means you can promote and develop the popularity of your own blog. If you are trying to make money and using SEO then it important that you make your blog headings similar if not identical to your website and slow to increase traffic to your site use your keywords in your domain and blog name. All these things help the search engines to find you.

Integrate your site

Another of the benefits of hosting your blog on your own domain is that you can easily integrate it with your websites instead of having to create new ones.

From reading the above you can see that the benefits of hosting your blog on your own domain are pretty much a decision of control. Do you want it or willing to let someone have it? If you are serious about a business online then you should look into hosting your blog on your own domain.

How Blogging Can Make You a Good Writer

Blogging can do many things to you as an individual: it makes you express yourself, it connects you with people you're hardly likely to come across otherwise, it makes you more wise, it makes you more social, and among other things, it also makes you a good writer.

Truth be told, not everyone can write. Or at least, not everyone can write well. Often, those who can, don't really like to write unless forced to do so. And the worst is when you can write and severely want to, but simply cannot. Yup, 666 for a writer: writer's block. But, blogging makes you fight it all, solve it all.

Once you have a blog, you work towards making it more reader-oriented. For this, you write and write the way your audience appreciates. You also keep a tab on post-frequency. You make sure you write often. And then starts your success story: your blog begins to attract plenty, and gets you steady appreciation. Now all you've to do is sustain the reader base you've accumulated. It is this want, this desire to continue your blogging-success story that makes you write, and write, and write.

Common knowledge, it is, that practice makes you perfect. When you blog, you just write so, so much and so, so often that it becomes a habit. You no more find writing difficult, and more importantly, you no more fear it. You expand your knowledge base, and you build on it. You are more informed, and thus, more confident a writer. Also, as you keep doing things, you keep improving. You learn from your mistakes and iron out flaws the next time you write. You learn from bloggers around you, you draw from suggestions that your readers make.

To draw more traffic to your site, you join forums and social networks. You make friends, and expand your network. Blogging Tips For Effective Business Blogs

Blogging can be a great way to market your business, product or service and to create customer awareness and loyalty. But, some businesses just jump into blogging without much thought and without a plan. To blog effectively, especially for B2B companies, following a few tips can help make blogging an effective marketing tool.

Tips for Effective Business Blogging

* Decide "why" you are blogging. What is your business goal? To create awareness? To offer content to customers? To develop an online reputation as an expert in your field? Deciding on the reason why your business needs a blog can help guide you to the right blogging strategy.
* Analyze the audience. A critical question is: "Who is your audience?" Are you blogging primarily for an internal company audience or external readers? Are you targeting customers and partners? What is your customer profile, their preferences and business needs? Answering these questions can help determine your blogging strategy and give you insights into relevant content for your posts.
* Determine your purpose: opinion or information. Are you blogging to offer information to readers or to let off steam and offer opinions? For a personal blog, rants and raves might be interesting and even fun reading, but think of your business audience: would they prefer your opinion or relevant business content. tips and insights?
* Why should they read your blog? Are you offering value and content that matters? With millions of blogs, readers have choice, so be sure to offer opinion and information that is relevant to this audience base. Can you help them solve business problems or offer guidance as a trusted advisor?
* Find a niche. Decide on your subject and then start reading other blogs on the same topic. Differentiate your blog by creating your own angle on the subject. A great way to niche your content is to localize it to a city or region: London small business technology or US West Coast VARs or Bangalore IT. The key is to find a niche that is not over populated.
* Use business-relevant keywords in your copy. When writing your blog posts, always think like the audience: what business keywords might they use in a search? The broader your keywords, the less successful you will be because you will be competing with millions of other bloggers. Imagine how many blogs use the keyword, "marketing"? Be unique but relevant in your keyword choice.
* Time your blogs. Blogging is a commitment and it can be time-consuming. Daily blogs are not realistic for all business writers. Twice or even once a week is a manageable blog schedule. The key is to be consistent in your timing.

Blogging and other social media can be a great addition to your marketing efforts. Don't just think of your business blog as "work", write on topics you feel passionate about. You might even have some fun in the process!

Blogs have proven to be a successful source of income for many people, making use of visitor numbers and advertising to provide a financial reward for their writing and musing. Many people make use of Google AdSense but there are advertisers willing to pay directly for space on a popular blog. Below are some of the more popular blog topics where popular and well written blogs can earn money.

• Health and Fitness - Society is now more aware than ever about healthy living, and many people are looking for quick solutions to daily fitness and health problems. Quality content regarding tips and products can see people visiting your site, and daily updates will see them return each and everyday.

• Celebrity Gossip - The rich and famous are more than ever in spotlight, and hundreds of thousands of people are looking to find out the smallest details about their favourite stars. It may be difficult to find out any new information but it is easy to bring all available information together to ensure that your blog is the central source of information from dedicated fans.

How to Make Your Blog Load Faster

One of the biggest issues people come to us to solve is making their blog load faster. This is often the first challenge a growing blog faces.

Eventually, your blog will become popular enough to necessitate upgrading your hosting plan. However, there's a lot you can do to put that day off for quite a while.

One of the first and most powerful things you can do is cache your homepage and posts.

What is a "cache"?

To understand how caching works, you first have to understand a little about how WordPress works. Without caching, here's how your blog works. When someone browses over to your site, WordPress immediately queries your WordPress database for all of the content and settings on the page.

A query is like a search. The site script searches the database for the appropriate content to display on the page. Every time the page is called upon by a user, the database is queried again and again. This repeated database query will eventually cause a tremendous amount of stress to the server.

The result is that pages start to load slower. Eventually, they may start timing out all together.

Here's where caching kicks in. You are probably not updating your site thousands of times a second, right? So why should the system have to query the database over and over again for each new user that comes to the site? For example, the homepage is going to look the same for me as it did two seconds ago when you checked it. It will probably still be the same 10 minutes from now when the next guy checks.

So, what if you could query the database, and then show just the results over and over again without re-querying the database? Well, that's what a cache is.

Your site cache will save the results as a new file, and just reserve it to the next user in line. If an update to the site is made in the mean time, the cache will be cleared out for that page to reflect the new pages.

The cache will then conserve some of the load that your server faces.

WordPress has a great plugin called WP-CACHE that handles all of this for you.

Another way to save valuable load time is to limit the amount of external content feeding into the site. If you have a lot of third party widgets and banners, they will cause your site to load slower. Loading all of that external content will slow your site because it needs to leave your server to fetch the content. Cut back on the number of ads and outsize sources you use, and you should be in better shape.

Writing Beautiful Posts

Writing posts is not an easy job. It does not always guarantee you a better page rank. The quality of the content has to be precise and to the point. The readers do not appreciate a poorly written article.

In order to get traffic to your blog a well researched article has to be posted. The writer has to give something new to its readers every time he/she publishes a post.

Here are some tips to the writers to write good and successful posts:

Always read on the subject before you start writing: A better way to summarize a subject in the form of a post is to read a lot about the topic. Google the topic, search the newspapers and surf the television set. You might come across something new every time.

Read blogs that have a similar subject as yours: Often we come across blogs that are similar to ours. Let's call these blogs the 'familiar blogs.' Derive the positives from the 'familiar blogs' and build on them.

Play a game for recreation: If you have reached your deadline and are not ready with a new post, what do you do? You tried a lot to write a new article but somehow were not able to get your acts together, don't get nervous. Try reading the newspaper; pick up a book and start reading. Play a game and relax. Give your mind a break before you start writing again. Remember write quality posts. Crappy and regular posts do not give you a better page rank.

Meditate to clear your thoughts: It is very important that neat thoughts flow in your mind while writing on a topic. The logical flow would help you draft an article properly. An article should always have an abstract, the body and the concluding paragraph.

Happy Blogging!

Blog Design Can Motivate Readers to Take Action

New businesses, especially new on the Internet, have exploding growth using a blog because it opens doors to join venture opportunities and affiliate partnering with products of other people. Blogs also help establish relationships with other people in your field,

A great way to get your business blog to bring in paying results is to concentrate on its design. A primary purpose of the design of your blog is to make it easy for readers to find information. The second, and equally important purpose, is to lead readers to those links where they can take action. It may be downloading a free report or signing up for a new 4-week class on social networking.

Think about what you look for when you open a new blog. There are certain elements that are going to influence whether a visitor stays on the blog and reads the information or leaves the post. It only takes a few sentences for the visitor to make that decision and it is usually based on the look and the feel of the blog. No matter how important your information, visitors are not going to read anything unless the look of the blog impresses them enough as being worthwhile and targeted to them.

Most professionals and entrepreneurs do not have a clue about what to put on their blog and what not to include in the design. They also do not pay much attention to the layout. Design and layout are something you need to focus on when starting a blog because no one will stay and read anything on your blog if it is not appealing, clear and easy to use.

Keep in mind that blog design is about aesthetics and usability for the reader. The aesthetics aspect is about making your blog look visually attractive. It is also about using your branding and how comfortable it is for your reader to use your blog, find the information they want and enjoy using your content. It helps when you keeping in mind that one of the end results of a blog is to build trust with the readers,

Determining the focus of your blog helps you create the layout and the design. When you can easily identify why you are blogging, and what you want the blog to do for your business, you will be better able to work out the design. For instance, some professionals write blogs to get more clients. Their design tends more to solve the problems these clients may have. Another blog could end up as an eBook and its organization and layout may end up looking more like an outline. The point is blogs have different purposes.

Here are some parts to your blog that you need to consider:

The header of the blog, which may also be called the banner, includes the title or the name of your blog. The name of the blog should state the main purpose of the blog and give the readers an immediate sense of what they are going to learn.

The other thing that is found in the headline is the tagline. The tagline generally describes who the blog is for, what are the benefits of reading the blog, and who is the blog author. The key is that a blog is an informal and personal form of communication so people want to know the name of the author.

The next thing you want on your blog, especially for branding purposes, is to have a featured post, a signature post, or a page that is linked on your sidebar that explains what the blog is about and what is its purpose. This lets the reader immediately know what they are going to find out reading this blog. Then the reader can decide whether that topic is in their best interests and subscribe or not subscribe.

How to Install a Wordpress Blog

Are you ready to begin your blogging career?

I teach people how to blog using the software wordpress. If you have no idea how to get started, I'll show you that as well. I understand that not everyone knows the ins and outs of blogging so that is why I decided to teach as many people as possible or at least those that really want to learn.

The first thing you want to do is make sure you get the right hosting. Some hosting companies are really bad and have horrible customer service. Also some just are resellers and just want your money but will not provide customer service.

So once you have your hosting all settled and you are ready to go, you are going to want to install wordpress onto your server. You can do this three ways. One is by manually created the folders and downloading the wordpress files from their site.

The second way of installing it is by using a feature that you hosting may be offering called Fantastico. It has an icon of a blue smiley face so if you see that you can install that way by using a its once click install.

The last way you can install wordpress which is the way I recommend is by using simple scripts. This is also a one click method but what cool about it is that it makes upgrading so easy, all you do is hit upgrade when upgrades are available and that's it.

These are the ways that I install wordpress onto my server.

Learn how to install a blog today and have your site up and running by the end of the day.
